Leatherhead Hockey Club are seeking a new coach to help run training for the adult section of the club on Tuesday evenings from 8pm – 9.30pm, starting from 8th September 2026.

The club have 4 teams playing in South East Region – Oaks Leagues (2 x Men, 2 x Ladies) in 2026-27, and cater for a wide range of ages and playing standards. The role involves planning and running training sessions, alongside another qualified coach, to benefit the whole adult section of the club, upskilling the players and developing teams' match-play.

Key Requirements for the Role: -

Ability to plan, deliver and evaluate coaching sessions to ensure they are effective.

Good interpersonal skills and communication to engage all players.

Coaching Qualification (equivalent to England Hockey Level 2/Club Coach Course) is desirable, or willingness to complete this.

Experience of coaching at a similar level.

Available to coach Tuesday evenings in Leatherhead, Surrey from 8:00pm -9:30pm

Completion of a satisfactory DBS check.

Right to live and work in UK.

This is a paid role for 1.5 hours/week (approx. 25 weeks from mid-September until late March with a break over Christmas and half terms).

The hourly rate is negotiable depending upon experience and qualifications.
